The BWC NGO Team tries out the “La Parabola” solar oven, cooking typical breads from Cameroon. In partnership with the Hella Boccara Foundation, the experience took place at Herdade do Freixo do Meio.

Since November 2020, "Montado do Freixo do Meio" (Alentejo, Portugal) has been hosting part of the BWC NGO Team for a one-year residency, working in various regenerative and sustainable areas.

In March 2020, Joshua Konkankoh, CEO of Better World Cameroon and African Way, was invited to lecture a class on the Master's program in Peace, Security and Development Studies at University of Coimbra.

Due to the civil war in Cameroon, since 2016, part of the Better World Cameroon - BWC NGO team was forced into exile. Portugal was the country of destination where, in 2019, with the support of the Tamera community, it was possible to continue the work previously developed out in Cameroon.
